Ms. Shilpi Kumari

My name is Shilpi Kumari (ECN – 140036) and I am currently stationed at DBR.

I was born in Nawabganj, Araria, Bihar, in a warm and loving family consisting of my father, mother and brother. Growing up, I loved dancing and playing badminton, but what fascinated me the most was discovering the beautiful and diverse cultures of our country. India’s traditions, values and way of life always amazed me and understanding them gradually shaped me into a kinder and more compassionate person.

As I grew older, my curiosity about cultures turned into a passion to learn, observe and understand people better. This passion only grew stronger when I joined SpiceJet on 31st October 2023. My journey with SpiceJet has been nothing short of beautiful. The exposure, the interactions with passengers and the opportunity to work closely with people from different walks of life have helped me pursue my passion every single day.

Throughout this journey, I have always believed in giving my best to my duties. Even on 13th October 2025, when I unfortunately sprained my ankle near my residence after my shift, I chose not to report sick. Despite the pain, I reported to duty the next day, keeping the grooming protocol intact by covering the bandage under my socks because I understood the operational requirements at DBR station due to the increase in flights and I wanted to support my team.

I take pride in being recognized as an exceptional screener and one of the best Physical Check Officers, consistently detecting SRI items during SLPC checks. I also handle multiple KRAs with dedication and ensure they are carried out flawlessly.

My journey so far has been filled with learning, commitment and growth. SpiceJet has not only given me a platform to build my career but has also helped me stay connected with my passion—to learn about different cultures and touch lives with empathy and understanding.

I look forward to continuing this beautiful journey with the same enthusiasm and dedication.
